An exclusive safari dedicated entirely to photographing Elephants in their natural habitats. From the dense thickets of Ithumba to the vast plains of Tsavo East and the iconic backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, this journey is designed for lovers of wildlife photography and Elephant behavior. We aim to seek out and photograph some of the last remaining great tuskers in Africa.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Settle in, meet your fellow travelers and guides, and enjoy a welcome dinner where we will brief you on the days ahead.

DAY 2–3: ITHUMBA – AMONG THE ELEPHANTS
Transfer to Ithumba, located in the northern part of Tsavo East. Here, you'll experience the incredible work of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s Elephant Reintegration Unit. You will be up close with orphaned Elephants learning to re-adapt to the wild—a deeply moving and unique photographic opportunity.
Spend your days exploring the area’s remote wilderness, where Elephants thrive and sightings of Leopards and Wild Dogs are possible. Watch the Elephants gather at waterholes, especially in the late afternoon light.

DAY 4–6: TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK – HOME OF THE RED ELEPHANTS
Venture into Tsavo East, known for its vast open landscapes and red dust-coated Elephants. Photograph herds as they cross the savannah and congregate at waterholes. This park is renowned for its long-tusked Elephants – a rare and majestic sight.
We’ll search for these elusive great tuskers and immerse ourselves in the raw beauty of Tsavo’s wilderness.

DAY 7–10: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – ELEPHANT BEHAVIOR IN FOCUS
Arrive in Amboseli, where Elephants roam beneath the towering presence of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This is one of the best places in Africa to observe and photograph Elephant social interactions and behaviors.
We’ll witness Elephants moving in majestic lines across the dry lakebed and through marshy wetlands. With long days in the field and evenings spent relaxing at our lodge, this is a photographer’s dream.

DAY 11: RETURN TO NAIROBI – DEPARTURE
After breakfast, fly back to Nairobi. Enjoy a farewell lunch and transfer to the airport for your international flight home.
